The Vulcan Tool Corporation was Founded in 1916. Starting out as a small tool and die shop, Vulcan expanded into one of the largest and respected designers and manufacturers of tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, and custom machinery in the Midwest.

Over the years, Vulcan and its product line expanded, and in the 1950’s and 1960’s the patented “Brehm” shimmy die and tube cutter were added to the product line.

In 1990, Vulcan became part of the Ruthman Family of Companies, expanding the “Brehm” line and adding other new and innovative products.  The Ruthman Company association expands accessibility of Vulcan’s top of the line products, resources and innovative technology many more satisfied customers throughout Europe and Asia as well as the U.S..
